In a longing sight, I saw the morning dew,

bright like a gem but with a transient smile.

All in life is like a dew drop,

captivating by the presence but for the fleeting moment.

All in vain of strain I felt,

Gust of memories haunt my thoughts,

for I am bound in material chain, thriving

for something like a dew drop.

I have roamed through the ancient lands to

humble villages, from slums to extravagant cities, all

to find the path for peace at heart.

Just to learn the philosophy offered by the sight of a morning dew from my window frames.

In search of blissful happiness,

I traversed through the world so high,

mountain tops to ocean depths, I

wander for that soulful smile.

Glittering smiles as bright they glow

entrenched deep with dark and foes.

Flickering thoughts they disturb me,

for I am deceived through the tool of trust.

Is the tears and smiles I see is,

true or forged with beckoning craft!

Like the rainbow we per-see,

the word 'humanity' is a fugazi!

From the mountain tops I see, and through the chilling ocean beds,

I felt no wisdom rather than the warmth,

I got in my mother's smile, there lies trust and soul,

I seek and the larger sense of 'humane' I want.

My words are for whom decorated this universe, the infinity stage of stars, whom lit the light of life in earth of joy, in the nucleus of whole who resides as fire.

Let my destiny for you will be reached with devotion, oh my lord who filled love in all, may your enemies veil the destiny with dark, for they will fright when I say your name.

may my movements be a sacrifice for you,

may my mind be your eternal throne

may my thoughts be your crown

may my pen be a glaive for you.

Thank you lord for happiness and miseries, though nothing obstructs me, since devotion to you is my only emotion.

I am thanking you for filling us all with light of words.

Thoughts carry me to new horizons,

in search of soulful happiness.

Today I am a cemetery guard,

who assures rest of peace to your beloved ones.

The guard knows that the eyes,

of the living, are deceiving.

He said ‘morning’ to someone yesterday.

Now with mourning, dig the grave for him.

The life he sees with his own eyes

becomes a stage for artists to perform

and leave when they are told to.

Like the rest of us, he doesn't know he's also an actor.

His nights are sleepless,

with haunting odor of rotten flowers

“Like the flowers rot, the love for someone here will rot”

He pondered.

The guard envies most of his accompanied

since people cry for them and kiss

their foreheads before letting them turn into dust.

He has no one to smile or cry for him!

Dew on top of graves at dawn

is the only scenic beauty he has.

The dews allay him saying we are better

than the fake tears, you see on the living for dead.

The guard is a contented being

Since he is the only soulful creature amidst the dead souls,

his soul is at peace even before death because

he knows a secret…

മിഴി നീർ തുള്ളികളായി വീഴാൻ

കാർമേഘത്തെ വിളിക്കുന്ന കാറ്റ്,

വർണ്ണാഭമായ പകൽ വെളിച്ചത്തെ മങ്ങിപ്പിച്,

സൂര്യനെ സന്ധ്യ ഛായയിൽ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു.

മഴ, മുറിക്കുള്ളിൽ വീക്ഷിക്കുന്നവർക്ക്

നനുത്ത സ്പർശമായിരിക്കാം,

എന്നാൽ ചിലർക്ക് ജീവിതയുദ്ധത്തിലെ

മറ്റൊരു വിലങ്ങു തടി.

അമ്മയായ പ്രകൃതിയെ മഴയിലൂടെ,

നീ കരയുകയാണോ!

അതോ നിന്റെ അനുസരണയില്ലാത്ത

ഈ മക്കളോടുള്ള ആക്രോശമോ.

കൊട്ടാരത്തേയും കുടിലിനെയും

ഒരുപോലെ ആലിംഗനം ചെയുന്ന

മഴയുടെ സമത്വത്തെ ഞാൻ

പ്രണയിക്കുന്നു.

എന്നാലും, പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട മഴയെ നീ പോകു!

മഴവില്ലിന്റെ നിറങ്ങളാൽ ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന ആകാശം നമ്മുക്ക് കാണാം. ആ, ഏഴുവർണ്ണങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും

എന്റെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾക്കു നിറമേകണം.
