Prathidhwani represented DRUCC meeting of Railway & demanded more train stops at Kazhakoottam

61st Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee Meeting (DRUCC) held on 18th Nov 2014 at DRM office The meeting was Presided by Shri Sunil Bajpai Chairman DRUCC and DRM, Sri P Mahesh Additional Divisional Railway Manager delivered the welcome Speech. The newly appointed  DRUCC members from various sections of the society attended the meeting. Sri V.C Sudeesh Senior Divisional Commercial Manager presented the jurisdiction and functioning of DRUCC and briefed the recent initiatives taken by the Division and also delivered the vote of thanks. Prathidhwani Executive member Mr.Sivasankar represented the Technopark community as Prathidhwani ( Socio Cultural organisation of technopark employees ) was  nominated in DRUCC by DRM under the category of Special interest  and presented the concerns and issues faced by the techie community on Kazhakoottam Railway station. Prathidhwani demands included more stoppage for 9 more trains including trains via Alleppy and to improve the infrastructure facilities at the Kazhakootam railway station. DRM was patient enough to listen to the raised concerns and also promised to look into the issues seriously. Image removed. New Announcement : Ticket vending machine When inadequate facility for the train ticket booking was pointed out the authorities responded positively and ensured that ticket vending machines will be placed at Kazakootam railway station at the earliest by January 2015. Prathidhwani have Invited DRM and team to Technopark for an open meeting with the employees and Park officials, DRM have happily accepted the request.
