Technopark has withdrawn the decision to charge for open car parking slots

Technopark has withdrawn the decision to charge for open car parking slots @ Rs.500/- per month per slot from April 2014 onwards.  We Prathidhwani, on behalf of technopark employees, welcome the decision to withdraw the newly added charge for open car parking slots.  Also we request alternative for this parking crunch  would be promoting use of more public transport by proving more buses and also introducing  technopark express circular route more frequently.  We will work out on those and will submit detailed plans soon to park centre. Image removed.   Earlier  Park centre authorities had decided to increase the charges for covered parking slots in all buildings in Phase I campus to Rs.1000/- pm (plus Service Taxes) and are also planned to introduce charges for open car parking slots @ Rs.500/- per month per slot (plus Service Taxes) from April 2014 onwards. We, Prathidhwani commented it as   completely unjustifiable to introduce parking charges for open car parking slots. Also we thought this is  not the right method to find money for maintenance and administrative cost. Maintenance and administrative cost should be met from the normal  building rent and the allocated space rent and perhaps, also from software export Sincere thanks to  technopark CEO Sri Girish Babu Sir  and  Sri Vasudevan Sir for hearing our side and reverting the decision in favor of employees. Please see the attached request submitted to CEO  Sri Girish Babu Sir and Vasudevan Sir ( Senior Manager , technopark ) for withdrawing the newly added charge for open car parking slots.
