Bringing a smile on 75 deaf student's face

Image removed. Technopark was always a home for thousand fortunates, but it never turned its back to others as well. DaanUtsav has again reminded this with its new initiative to join the hands of Deaf and Dumb school at Jagathy, Trivandrum & Sree Mookambika Sravana Samsara Vidyalayam, Vazhuthacaud and St:Marys School, Pattom 75 differently abled students from these schools are invited to join the largest IT hub of the nation for an entire day. The warm welcome includes sumptuous lunch to deep interactions with the kids. The kids are in their thrill for this unusual day of full fledged fun and amusement. EVENT SCHEDULE
  • 8:30am : Technopark will arrange bus to pick the students from school
  • 9:30am : Welcome at Park Centre, Technopark for all the students and their teachers.
  • 9:30am to 10:30am : CEO, Technopark would welcome the students and converse with them with the help of Technopark employees.
  • 10:30am to 11:30am : Students would be taken for a ride within the campus to show the various facilities.
  • 11:30am to 12:30pm : Students grouped into 4 of 20 each and taken for corporate visit- to 4 companies within Technopark.
  • 12:30pm to 1:30pm : Lunch at Park Centre for 75 students + 15 teachers.
  • 1:45pm to 3pm : Join the celebration of compassion & giving , DAAN UTSAV @ Bhavani Atrium)
  • 3:30pm to 4pm : Evening tea & snacks at Park Centre for 75 students + 15 teachers.
  • 4pm : Bus will leave Technopark Campus with the students to drop them back to school.

Swapna can do the work people do with their hands – but with her legs. She had started to draw at a very early age. She learnt the art by staying at the Chethipuzha Nursing Home, Changanassery. Her paintings reached out to the whole world, through the Association of Mouth and Foot Artists (AMFA), Switzerland. Her works became famous at Alappuzha through the Sand Art Festival. Swapa loves nature. Flowers, butterflies and birds get a life-like depiction on the canvas..
