Prathidhwani, the welfare organization of IT employees in Kerala, was established in April 2012 with the vision to promote the cultural, technical, and social welfare of the IT community. The organization operates actively across Kerala’s three major IT hubs—Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram, Infopark in Kochi, and Cyberpark in Kozhikode—bringing together professionals for development and community initiatives.
Over the years, Prathidhwani has organized numerous impactful programs. These include free technology training sessions and a dedicated job portal connecting thousands of applicants with hundreds of companies. Cultural and creative events like the Qisa film festival and Srishti literary program have nurtured talent, while sports events such as the Sevens league promote health and camaraderie. The Women’s Forum conducts initiatives like “Back to Work” and special outings to support and empower women in IT.
The organization is also known for its strong social responsibility. It has led COVID-19 vaccination drives, supported education for underprivileged children, and contributed over ₹28 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund for Wayanad landslide rehabilitation. Recently, Prathidhwani has taken steps to address mental health and workplace stress among IT employees by initiating a dedicated committee and advocating for improved working conditions.
