Prepaid Auto Counter & Police aid post in Technopark Frontgate : Inauguration likely on Monday.
Inauguration of the Prepaid Auto Counter is expected to be in next week based on availability of police higher officials and honourable home minister. Police aid post also will be inaugurated at technopark front gate at the same venue.
Prathidhwani did the collection for construction of the prepaid auto counter and there was an enthusiastic response with collection coming to 1,09,400 INR. 143 people contributed from different companies inside technopark. People voluntarily contributed to this community cause. Details of people contributed are available in prathidhwani site (http://prathidhwani.org/PrepaidAuto/). This collected amount is enough for the purpose and we closed the collection, not collecting any money more. Work on prepaid counter has started and the structure is nearing completion near to the front gate. The details of expense will also be published at the same place.
Prepaid Software prepared by prathidhwani for this has been demonstrated to police officials. Software includes facility of serving both Prepaid auto & Taxi.
Auto fares to main destinations were also finalised by police in consultation with auto driver’s unions. Which got published in local newspapers too. Techies are having high resentment over the rates and Prathidhwani has informed Thiruvananthapuram Rural SP: Shri RajPal Singh Meena & DySP Admin Shri. Pramod Kumar about the the same. Shri Rajpal singh Meena, IPS has told he will look into the matter.
