UST Global hosted Art Exhibition & Sale by differently abled youth

UST Global  joined hands with the Thiruvananthapuram based National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) to organize an Art Exhibition at their centre in Technopark, Trivandrum. The exhibition, titled ‘Sarang’, carried a unique display of original art work by the students of NISH’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hearing Impaired) course. The differently abled artists showed off their talents on a variety of media such as canvas, paper and wood, apart from metal embossing and fiber glass works. The exhibition and sale, organised at the Bhavani Atrium in Technopark campus and inaugurated by G Vijayaraghavan, was open to the 30,000 odd professionals from all the Technopark-based companies, and saw rich attendance. Alexander Varghese, Country Head & VP (Corporate Services), UST Global said, “Our real objective in organizing programs like Sarang is to bring out the hidden talents of the young men and women, thereby increasing their self-confidence and inspiring them towards better employment opportunities. They have the capacity to excel and UST Global is providing them a platform to showcase that to the world.” This is the third time that UST Global has collaborated with NISH in promoting the artistic talent of the differently abled students.
