During a board meeting held on Monday, Technopark officials have reportedly initiated the process of fixing individual rentals for the 10 counters and seven kiosks functioning inside the food court. Meanwhile, the vendors said they had already held talks with Technopark authorities and have not received any adverse comments on the quality of their services. "So there is no reason why we cannot continue," said a counter owner. The IT park officials may have realized that if they reduce the rentals, it would reflect directly on the food price, he added. Vivek Shashidharan, owner of Swad food counter here, said he would gladly enter into contract with the Technopark, adding that the counter was opened recently and yet to reach breakeven. Meanwhile, the VLS has claimed that some of the furniture inside the court belongs to them and they are not being allowed to take them out. Technopark CEO Girish Babu said he has received a few complaints from counter owners in this regard. "However, we are not sure if this is true and hence cannot allow them to be taken out from the park without proper verification," he said. http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2013-08-01/thiruvananthapuram/40961089_1_food-court-food-price-board-meeting
