Global Shared Service and Innovation Centre of Ernst & Young inauguration on April 25, 2013 @ Kinfra.

Chief Minister Shri Oommen Chandy will formally open the Global Shared Service and Innovation Centre of Ernst & Young, a leading consultancy and advisory firm, at the Kinfra Film & Video Park Special Economic Zone at Kazhakuttam in Thiruvananthapuram on April 25, 2013. Image removed. This is the third centre and the fourth facility of Ernst & Young Global shared services ( EY GSS) in Kerala. EY GSS has two facilities in Technopark, Trivandrum ( Gayathri & Tejaswini ) and one in Info park, Cochin ( Athulya ) Earlier, the Innovation Centre of EY GSS Kerala at Kinfra SEZ was inaugurated by Mark Weinberger, Global Chairman & CEO-elect of Ernst & Young on March 11, 2013. The new centre spread over 60,000 sq. ft. would seat about 800 professionals when fully occupied. The MoU for setting up the new centre was signed between EY and KINFRA on April 21, 2012 Set in a beautifully landscaped area of 75 acres of land on the outskirts of the city, the Kinfra Film &Video Park is a fully owned subsidiary company of the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA). The Kinfra SEZ was initially notified for IT – Animation & Gaming in 2007 but later in 2012, Kinfra obtained SEZ approval for IT / ITeS. The Kinfra Film and Video Park, the first Infotainment Industrial Park in the country, is strategically located between Technopark and the proposed Technocity project EY GSS Kerala, the combined entity of the Kochi and Trivandrum centres, provides shared services support in IT, Finance & Accounting, HR, Risk Management, Knowledge, and Creative Services. Set up in 2002 as a Shared Services Centre for the Ernst & Young Middle East offices, GSS Kerala has now expanded to provide support for EY firms in 140 countries across the world
